Don't the birds get loud if there are more added? I have just my one quiet Parrotlet. I would be too afraid to add another. I would be afraid things would get loud.

MBS...Is that Multiple Bird Syndrome? If so I think I have it too Right now we have a 1 Green Cheek Conure..Thats All. We used to have a Cockatiel as well but we came home one day and found her at the bottom of her cage she had passed away We have no idea how old she was we actually found her flying around our neighborhood and no one ever claimed her. Its been about 2 years since she passed away and I've been just fine with only one bird. A couple times since her death I have
toyed with the idea of getting another bird But now recently I just cant stop thinking about getting another bird...I read and read and search online....I just cant stop
I'm considering a CAG or maybe an Eclectus or maybe a meyers or maybe I'll just end up getting another cockatiel...I'm not sure I cant make up my mind

Ekkies are the best! I have loved each of mine...they are so calm...and have the sweet little voices.

But...you have to be able to provide the diet they require or youwill have one upset ekkie on your hands. They are piggies!

Remember that any parrot can be loud...ANY!

So I went to the pet store yesterday and caved...I ended up buying a baby Cockatiel. So much for getting that CAG or Ekkie that I was dreaming about...Well, Maybe some day that will still happen We are planning on moving so maybe after we move. Anyway I cant bring my new baby home until their done handfeeding which will be in about another 2 weeks or so.

Heres a picture of what she/he looks like...This is not the actual bird but the Color of this bird is exactely the same as the one I bought.

Beautiful! Congratulations. I'm sure you'll still get that CAG or Ekkie. Probably sooner then you think. Do you know yet if the new fid is a boy or girl?

Aww! Congrats on your baby cockatiel! They really are such great birds! Can't go wrong with a sweet cockatiel!

Michele- Have you reached any decisions?
