know what I hate, smart birds. Smart birds that figure things out. Bite my finger then look me in the eye like "whatcha gonna do human?" then bite again, obviously trying to get a reaction out of me. Rock my hand back and forth? Sure then she hangs on tighter!! And tries to bite both sides. Sophie bless her heart makes a game of it.
Benji is my only fid that doesn't bite at all. Zoey does it when you don't pay her enough attention.

Gypsy bites because she's an evil wench.

LOL Just kidding....kinda....

Actually I think it's her hormones. She's biting me when I clean her cage. She ever so gingerly climbs down to me, let's me give her kisses and snuggle a bit....then BAM it's "off with your ear!" She is now put into a carrier while I clean.

I swear that's one thing Ekkie's are good at...they can bite and HARD...but most of the time my Mikey uses his beak for everything...so usually I have that beak clamped on, not hard just enough pressure to make me think about what he is doing
