I love Sassy. I am thinking of adding a sene to my flock. Is there any special considerations I should be aware of? I have a sun counure so....noise is not a problem ;0) Every time i see one in a store they are just so cuddly and sweet. Any advise would be great.

Sassy is sweet, but she defintely loves my husband more than me. I found she got along great with our quaker. He was here before her, but it has taken a while for her to get along with our conure, I think it is because he came in after her. They get along now and eat and play together but never cuddle up. They don't fight but just are not as close.

That is just my experience. She definitely thinks she is the biggest bird in the house. I would definitely ask some other members who have them and see what there expereinces are. My husband did alot of research on her before we got her. He really loves the Senegals.

i'd like to know more about bond.... i love blue crowns, but haven't had a chance to ask somebody what they are like.... noise level, interaction, nippy?

He definitely has the highest pitch of all the birds, so it comes across as being the loudest. He also loves to hear himself, so he is more vocal than the others. He loves attention but does not want you to touch him. If you try to pet his head be bites, but that is just the way he is. He LOVES to hang out with us, and be on our arm and fingers but that is where his affection ends. We got him when he was going on 2, so it may be from his past. He also picks at my freckles, but does not hurt me.

He likes to dance and he is is our magic eight ball. We ask him random questions and he shakes his head yes or no, then usually laughs at his own answers. He is the class clown and where the others don't talk much when new people are around, he will gladly talk and do tricks.

He likes to play with toys but even more loves to climb around and hang from one toy while playing with another
