Scammer on Classifieds

Just wanted to let everyone know about a scammer on the classifieds section. He has two ads for african greys come up when you choose 'MOST RECENT'. His usernames are 'perkinsrostan' and 'nickjames'. If you read the ads, both ask you to reply to JUAN CARLOS. I have emails from him, where he says he is now in Atlanta, Ga and I offered to pickup the birds from him the next day. He refused and said to let him know my closest airport so he can ship them to me. Hmmm... if I am coming to Atlanta, my closest airport would be Atlanta... he also says he is going to Germany in 2 days, so this must be done soon. His other response from the other email I sent is that he is Germany already (both sent the same day) and he will call the police on me if I report his ad. So I kindly replied to please feel free to report me to the police for reporting your ad.

Well thats all the drama for today. Just wanted to make some people aware so they don't get scammed by the guy.

God that's awful. At least he gave you a "head's up" on Germany... most just say they're going out of the country in, oh, a couple of hours! It's nuts!

So I was looking at the classifieds again, and he has reposted.

Notice the email has been changed from JUAN CARLOS to NICKJAMES and is still signed JUAN CARLOS. He emailed me from both accounts. Just be cautious since he is still on there. Here is some of our emails:

Hope this at least saves someone from being scammed. Note the ad and then the names on the emails.
