I talk to all my animals like they understand what I am telling them. I also talk to my plants and I think it helps them grow better. There are to many tell tell signs that indicate they know what I am all about and in tune to what is going on in our lives.

Oh yes, especially my female TAG Scooter-Pie. I tell her everything and she does respond, Either with being gentle or fiesty.
She does know me...it's kinda freaky!

I almost never talk to my fids in my language, I talk to them in their language, so we understand each other. (Body language to) For me it feels useless to talk to them in human language because they don't understand me.

Though, I talk more to Yondo (in swedish) than to Saga. Saga whistles, so I whistles back. But mainly I am pretty quiet around animals of most species.

I talk to all of my animals as if they understand, especially the birds, because I do think they understand. I tell them where I'm going (if it's work or wherever) and they do have reactions.

Jerry loves it when he rides around on my shoulder and I explain things that I'm doing. He leans in really close and looks back and forth from my face to my hands, and he listens really intently.

Aways talk to them, I know they understand!
If there are people over, and they are not the center of attention, one of them invariably will say "Excuse me" and go on to she waht's on their mind!

I talk to mine. I tell them I am going to work so that I can buy them things. I tell them good morning when I come home from work. I also like to ask them if they are hungry right before I start filling up food bowls.

we talk to our birds like to humans... when valo's nippy i explain it to him that it hurts - he looks at me, turns his little head and then goes about his business

understanding or not - it helps me to make sure i give them enough one on one time... you can't raelly talk to them about whatever, if you're not watching and interacting with them

i also say goodbye, mommy loves you, going to work and all that stuff...
