I have enjoyed this book. I actually was lucky to run across it at a library book sale.

Great! Thanks for the recommendation! I just purchased Why Birds Sing by David Rothenberg. It looks wonderful although it's gotten mixed reviews on Amazon. It seems as if people are reviewing the author rather than what he's written but I'll judge it for myself.

It also comes with a very nice CD of bird song interspersed with the author's (who happens to be a talented musician as well) music. My birds enjoy listening to the combination of sounds.
