Really really bad news

Well as I have posted before she couldn't get ahold of Trix's people to get him. They were scheduled to meet at a store on Saturday and he never showed up. It was scheduled today that I would drive three hours and she would drive three hours and we would meet in the middle so I could adopt Trix. Well now she just told me the phone has been disconnected so we don't know whats going on. But it look bad for our family. You all know how excited I was and now I don't know what to think. I just don't understand what happened here. Thanks for listening guys!

I'm so sorry - I know you were so excited about adding him to your family. That's rotten if they changed their minds and didn't have the decency to let you know. I'm sure the right bird is out there just waiting for you to find them!

There was an episode of Dr. Phil where this woman said she was pregnant and was looking for a family to adopt the baby and then it all turned out to be a scam. Sounds similar. Some people can be so heartless.

i'm so sorry to hear your sad news, i know what it's loke to be waiting to bring home your new fid, i hope that you didn't give the person any money until you got it, i hope that it all works out well for you in the end, keep us posted.

I'm sorry for you and sorry for the bird--he needed a good home that you were going to provide and now---it isn't looking good for either of you.

I hope the litte guy is ok and have said a little prayer for him.

Thank you everyone. Waking this morning to read your posts feels a little better.

No money was exchanged..

And I was also worried about what happened to him?? Don't know if we will ever know.

I know that by him not working out, he wasn't meant to be. But maybe just around the corner someone else will be coming into my life.

Well, that's the correct attitude to have Trtldove. Everything does happen for a reason. I always believe in the adage, "If it's meant to be...it shall be." That just sucks that those people did that to you. Psychos. Keep your chin up and your eyes open. Your bird is still out there waiting.
