My cockatiel and my conure play together, and enjoy themselves. They also travel in the same cage, but share a mutual cage in the home would be a mistake. The grays play, they are a bonded pair, and they too travel in the same cage, but not in the home.
There will always be a dominate in any society, be it avian or human. Live sided by side, and things are cool, in the same 'house' and it's enviting trouble. The teil and the grays are dusty, and live alongside the macaw and the conure very well.... but I also take the precaution of air cleaners.... it's those 'just in casw' things that can make the difference in health down the road. |
