Pita, the reclinning Fid

OK, I have been trying desperatly to get a picture of this, I'll try again tomorrow morning, but here's the scoop.

Pita has a sleep cage in my room. In the morning when I wake up and hear him stirring, I get up, uncover his cage, go to the loo, come back to bed, and watch some TV while we both wake up. He has a happy Hut in there with a rope perch in front of the opening. So picture this if you will.

He will get a piece of food, go up to the perch with his back to the opening of the hut....and lean back into the hut, still holding on with one foot to the perch, and eating with the other. All I see is his lower half. Every once in a while he'll stick his head out to make sure I'm still there, then goes back to lounging.

I swear, he knew what he was doing when he picked me...LOL

That is the funniest thing. He sounds like an awesome bird, not just based on this post, but all your posts. If I didn't hear warnings about their noise level every time someone mentioned wanting one, I would want a Sun just based on him.

The noise isn't really that bad. I think that there are birds louder. Pita doesn't scream that much, only if I leave the room and he can't see me. Then I just scream back at him, and he's fine...lol

Don't miss out on being owned by one of these fabulous little birds....all animals make noise, some a bit louder than others.

pita "is" what made me finally dicide on a sun. hes so cute. i think it was the wet pictures that finally won me over. my tiki is all that i hoped.
