How do I find either a breeder or someone selling cockatiels in upstate ny

Hi, I'm still new here... I'm looking for a breeding age proven pair of cockatiels... and have seached in every way possible to try to find a breeder/aviary/ individule... anywhere in upstate ny and the closest I'v found is 6 or more hours away and doesnt have quality birds or is soo overpriced etc... does anyone here know of anyone in upstate NY or even in canada that has cockatiels that they breed/sell? or even an idividule looking to sell a cockatiel pair! I live in St lawrence county New York.... sorry if this is the wrong place to post this and also if its a silly question, but honestly, I'm lost. and still very new here.

hello. I have friends up there in cooperstown.
I would suggest a bird club up that way. I am not sure of any besides buffalo hookbill,and that seems rather far.
I would write to them, and tell them what you are searching for. they might be able to point you in the right direction.

thanks, sadly I dont even know how to get started in looking for bird clubs or anything, I appreciate you helping and suggesting that though. if you have a contact or something that'd be great.

Does anyone know any user's that live in the same general area as me? maybe someone has cockatiels theyre selling?
