The adventures of Pita & Godparront Bee!

Just got a call from Godparront Bee. Pita had a blood feather this morning, and Miss Bee, did everything right for him. In the end she took him to her vet, and they pulled the feather. It was a wing feather. Everyone is fine, and they are going to Starbucks.

All I can say is....

THANK GOD FOR BEE!

Everyone, if you haven't already...please make arrangements for the Fids...just in case!

She is coming over Sunday, with Pita, for a visit. This will also be the first time my Mom will meet her Grandfid. I'm still not physically ready to take him permanently, but what a lift my heart will have to see him......and to see Bee.

She hasn't seen me since the day after the accident, and I look much better now....lol

Love you all......and especially Bee :heartbeat: Thank you!

A blood feather is a new feather coming in. It will have a shaft on it, and a direct blood line. If the feather gets broken from playing or whatever to near the body, it will bleed. Applieing pressure & cornstarch can stop the bleeding, but it is recommended they see a vet, and have the feather pulled so it doesn't break again.

Here's a good link to info on them
