video camera question

I noticed some of you have videos of your birds. What cameras do you use? I need to get one, Arya does too many cute things I'd like to record.

Sony Handycams are really nice. Whatever you get, consider getting one that records on mini-dvds. They make transferring video to computers extremely easy. You can also play them in most standard dvd players.

The digital age has given us a number of ways to do photography:
Some video cameras will now take really good medium MP "stills"....
and lots of digital cameras now record video clips of 320x240 or 640x480 with sound for the duration of empty space on the video card.

I've used quite a few videocams & I'll agree that Sony Handicams are some of the best....
The last 3 I've owned have been Sony units.
I use a Sony DCR-HC96 MiniDV tape
or the video function of my Fuji S602Z digital still camera for doing video clips.

Ya I too have a sony handycam mini dvd, it's the handiest dang thing I have ever used(hence the name handycam lol) I used to have a vhs c but now that I use the mini dvd I just love the idea of not searching a tape for the last spot recorded, instead I just turn the camera on and shoot, if there is any room left on the disk it will display it, if not then I just pop in another.........LMB
