Ixchel's flight suit training

There will be a BBQ in Australia and it's BYOB-bring your own bird. To prepare Ixchel for her grand debut I was getting her used to being in a flight suit. She was really good about it, no trouble getting it on her. I gave her lots of cuddles so she would know it's a good thing.

Great pictures! She's so cute. I worked on putting flightsuits on Cosmo and Zoey when I first got them. Unfort. during the winter I completely slacked off. Have been thinking about trying again. I know they'll hate getting them on - they did before - but then once they were on they were okay with them. So we'll see if I can get them on now and keep all parts of my fingers intact.

wow those flight suits look cool mine isnt flying ill prolly keep her clipped but she poops a lot so might be good to get her used to wearing one of those

I must just be lucky. Ixchel has the largest beak out of all my birds and she doesn't bite. She really is a sweetheart!
