mark marrones parrots of the world is the only one I know of. I dont know the street, but it should be easy enough to google before ya come over to get all the info ya need.

Yeap. march 29th I'm flying over. And if I don't die in a planecrash :P I thought I would buy some nice bird toys. You guys have more toys than we do in little Sweden.

I found a store on Manhattan. They had lots of birdtoys and the staff were very friendly. I wish we had stores like that here in Sweden.

I gather you are home, and all went safe? did you have any problems bringing toys home? I know I have had company here from London and Australia and they had to watch what they could take back.

Wish I saw this thread sooner. I know I'm jumping onto this thread a bit late but just thought I should alert anyone interested in this question to another great bird-specific store in NY. Everyone knows "Parrots of the World" owned and run by Marc Morrone. But in Mineola on Jericho Turnpike is a store called "For Birds Only." I can't say enough good things about this place. It's literally family run. They too have a very large selection of birds, everything from macaws (all kinds) to budgies, and bird supplies. The couple that runs the store have been in buisiness there for, I believe, just over 25 years. They care a great deal about their birds and are very hands on with them. So, the birds are usually very approachable. They don't ship and are not as buisiness-oriented so they may not have a website. But, if youre close enough to get to Marc's place then you can also check this place out. They are not much further away. I also happen to live a few blocks from "For Birds Only."

I cant remember the name of the store I was at. Somthing birds... they had the birds in large glasscages and it was quite near 95th street Broadway.

I just put all toys in my bag and it werent any problems. I dont think they even weighed the bag :s so i could have bought more toys :P they had a lot of big toys that i didnt think would fit in my bag :(

I just have to say that your clothes are very cheap =) and the people were very kind and helpful.
