i wont even talk about selling or buying birds to anyone that doesnt live in this country, especially africa.....they tell nothing but lies and sob stories to get your money, those people are just a waste of my time, period. the scams usually come from africa, but they sometimes come from other countries as well.

It should also be noted that there is currently a ban on importation of birds from any country in Africa (to my knowledge) what so ever. It's been in place for years and now especially due to the "bird ban" due to the "avian flu" that has been established by the CDC (Center for Desease Control) since 1994.
In fact, currently importing birds from almost all countries into the US is now restircted. Exotic Wild Bird Conservation Act of 1992, International Affiars – U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service CDC - Avian Influenza (Flu) | Embargo of Birds from Specified Countries Pet Bird Entering the United States Wildlife Extra - Bird import ban saving hundreds of thousands of birds.
