Holy cow!!!! Molt monsters!!

Last week must have been a warm up for the impending molt. Man oh man. Even Cricket has done dropped a mess of feathers!! Benji did day before yesterday. Zoey and Sophie both piled it up last night. Sophie is the only one really looking ragged right now. At least on top of her poor little head. She must know too, she gets mad if she thinks I am looking at the top of her head. How weird huh?

I shook about 6 feathers from Maxie's blankie last night after she was finished snuggling. Shop vac has been working double around here! I have a box I keep the pretty ones in.

Tommaso is in molt mode also. Not very many feathers, just some down and pin feathers. His beautiful wings have grown out and he is enjoying the spring weather. He flew around the room for a little bit too. He's enjoying being a big boy.
