Can I Help?

I was feeding my, 2 week old, zebra finches while sitting on the floor, when out of no where, tiki climbed up my back to my shoulder. last time i saw him, he was on his playstand in the other room, guess he climbed down the stand then down his cage, into the hall, around the corner, across the floor, up my back without a peep. he is usually talking to himself, or quacking, or clucking, but he snuck all that way, and i didnt hear him, i had a siringe stuck in a chicks mouth. i was sure he (tiki) was going to interupt the whole process cause when im eating, he will climb down my arm and try to take my fork away, so i was sure he was going to go after the siringe or the ckicks, but he just stayed on my shoulder and watched, he was very good, and softly mumble some bird giberish, i think he was baby talking to them, cause it was the sound they make when begging for food, you finch keepers know what i mean, so i finished with the feeding, told him "good boy", and gave him a grape. he loves grapes.

There is probably a lot more going on in the bird world than we will ever know or understand. How touching.

Good for him for being. When I was hand-raising some canaries a few years ago Twiggy was not nearly so nice. She watched me for awhile and said * Yellow babies are so ugly! Twiggy wanna bite yellow heads off!* After that announcement I never feed them where Twiggy could see them again. di
