Wow - I don't even want to think about the stink 800 dogs would make trapped in a trailer!

I found this on the web - posted 9 hours ago - came for the following website

Care for seized dogs costly; would-be adopters abundant | www.azstarnet.com ®

"The 36 exotic birds taken from the Avra Valley mobile home will not be available for adoption at the Humane Society, Rose said. An avian vet was looking over the birds, and, after that, organizations that specialize in avian care were going to take them, she said."

Hoarding

Can you imagine the smell? Unbelievable. I can't even imagine that they could feed 800 dogs in one day - just the 2 of them. We have 18 dogs (all housed properly and well taken care of) and it is a major production to let them out, clean and feed. We spend at the least 4 hours per day just on maintaining them and there are two of us.

Those people are trash. Charges SHOULD be filed against them. They were breeding those poor animals and selling them for up to a couple thousand each.

Here is a list of some of the dogs. I dont see birds though. Maybe TARA has them (Tuscon rescue).

So far the birds are still at the humane society. They are bein' well taken care of. We know that for sure..:)

The dogs are being adopted out as soon as they are ready. A very good thing!
We are proud to be among the helpers..:):)

The birds still need fresh food daily, and perches for the donated cages...

Otherwise, the community has stepped up and got things under control for now.
Can you even imagine the influx on the people and the facilities?
This is way above the normal, or even above the above normal, more like way above normal and won't ever happen again!

We're proud of our community for helping so much, we pray that the dogs and the BIRDS get the homes they deserve...

We're hepling as much as we can here..:):)

featherduster, are the birds healthy? Were they well taken care of? What kind of birds did they have? If they need help in any way, let me know. I live in Phoenix.
