it just dawned on me as I was rubbing my fingers, could it be coincidence and Sophie is just entering her hormonal stage? This is beyond anything I have seen her do before. She wanted off the play gym. I gave her a ride to her cage and as soon as she was perched. She turned around and tried to nail me!!!

When you have tried to catch Zoey to give her the medicine, has she ever been in her cage and screaming and flapping around? If Sophie has observed this, she may simply be defending herself from the perceived possibility of an "attack" while in her cage.
Good luck in helping Zoey and keeping your skin intact with Sophie. |

well sir, after much deliberation and asking questions everywhere I go, this is exactly what I believe the problem is. Until last night it never dawned on me to give them there meds out of sight of the cages. Zoey only has a fit as I try to wrap the towel around her which I don't do until the last second. Without the towel she won't open her beak for me. So basiclly I figure Sophie is mad at me because she thinks I am hurting Zoey. I sure hope I never have to give Sophie meds.
