Looking for molted feathers

I know molting season is coming up, for some it has already started. I am always looking for molted feathers of various types. If you are interested please contact me. I am willing to pay for the feathers as well as for shipping.

Thank-you
Joe

Looking for Molted Feathers

I had posted in a thread a while back about looking for feathers and one of you suggested I remind you closer to molting season.
Last night I started a similar thread, but in too many places. They were condensed into one thread. Unfortunately the one that was saved didn't include the conversation we were having here. So I'm restarting the thread here in hopes we can continue that conversation.
I use molted feathers from a lot of different birds not just Macaws. The Macaws I mainly use tail feathers and also coverlets from the wings and tails, especially in the bright contracsting colors to the tail feathers.

I used these feathers to make Church and Powwow fans. Here are a few examples of my work.

For anyone who reads this thread, I use feathers from a wide variety of birds. Everything from Budgie tail and wing feathers to Macaw tail and coverlet feathers. I also use feathers from Rosellas, Lorakeets, African Greys, Pionus, Cockatoo (specifically red or yellow black-tails), Hornbills, Plumhead, Blossomhead, Ringneck and Moustache Parakeets, Lovebirds, etc.

oh very nice work!
We used to have a pow wow event up by us each year, where I would save and donate my feathers to. I have recently moved and need to find my stash.

please pm me the address in which to send them to.

Thank you and I did. If you are interested in going to powwows again, let me know and I can find out when and where there are some in your area. I have a few friends that live out your way.
