Does this sound fishy to anyone else?

On a whim, I had e-mailed a woman selling a pair of African Greys. Then I decided I don't have enough free time right now to share, so we got another Senegal instead. Anyway, this is her response to my inquiry. Sound fishy??

Hello, are you still looking for african grey parrots, i still have my african greys for adoption so if you are interested just get back to me.

Thanks for the response but pleas eif you know of any one who can take them just let me know, i need money for my daughters surgery, She has Kydney infections so will be operated for it. Please help out.
Thanks

Just politely tell them that you're no longer interested and leave it at that. If they continue to contact you, blacklist them from your email addy (so that you don't receive mail from them--it gets bounced back to them, instead of ending up in your inbox). That's what I do, anyway (then again, we have our own mail servers, so maybe blacklisting an addy if you don't run your own might be difficult?). Whether or not they're legit or scammers, being polite is usually the best idea. Sometimes the "sob stories" are true--ya just never know.

good one - i should remember that... it's sometimes real annoying, isn't it, especially since it takes faith away in giving for those who really need it - but it's so hard to tell nowadays... anyways, like the response
