What Kind of Conure is Stimpy?

Hey folks: here is a picture of Stimpy, I was told he was a Sun/Dusk conure, but I'm thinkin he is a gold capped conure, or a mix of some kind, He is a little larger of the conures, any help would be appreciated

He looks like a hybrid to me, could be Sun/Dusky. He is definitely not a full dusky, look at all that orange! But he is also not a gold-capped conure ;)He is really cute though!

It's a hybrid. Possible Nansun - Nanday x Sun.

The only counres that can cross breed that I'm aware of are the Sun, Jenday, and Nanday. Never heard of anything crossed with a dusky.

Just thought I'd post a picture of my Gold Cap so you may compare him to your bird.

Wow! to me he looks almost identical to your conure mbirdflock2002! He has the same blue flight feathers on the end of his wings like your bird and the exact same red breast coloring and identical tail!, I mean just take both pics and compare them! they could be from the same nest. the only difference is that I see a little bit of yellow on top of your bird's head, but when Stimpy yas younger he had the same amount of yellow on his head, but as he got older the redish coloring took over.
Does your bird have a few red tiny feathers on his shoulders, sometimes you dont see them on Stimpy and some times they stick out. Wow! he just may be a gold Cap! Cause that is the closest pic iave seen yet that really comes close.........LMC
