New Addition!
Hi everybody, Sorry I haven't been posting for a while but now I've come to show off that I've got a new baby! His names Demon and he's a rose-breasted cockatoo (or Galah). He's about 4 months old and he's a darling. I'd always wanted to get a galah but adopted a rainbow lorikeet first instead (Little Sexy) and then got a sun conure (Pagan). It was great with just the two but I couldn't stop thinking of the galah so I got him a couple of weeks ago. They're all slowly getting used to each other, Pagan's a bit possesive but they're warming up to each other. He's a lovely, cuddly bird but plays a bit rough sometimes, both my arms and my back are just a mess of scrapes and cuts but I don't mind (too much). It's a full house now with the dog, the cat, the rats and three birds, and all usually in the same room! They all get on well, it's great, and at least I can't get bored.

What a great bunch of birdies! Congrats on your new baby! He's such a cutie! Man they can be cuddley little pumpkins. My friend rescued a wild baby galah called Frankie and he just loved cuddles! There was one at the pet shop a little while ago who was so tame and loved scritches. I have a rainbow and would love to add a sun conure and a larger bird to the mix. How does the rainbow and conure get along and how similar are they in character/ behaviour etc?

Oh he's lovely! I love galahs too, but I couldn't really get one as I think my budgie would get jealous!! Nice seeing another NZ'er here! :)

Wow, what a beautiful bird. I always loved the look of the rose breasted cockatoos. Congrats to your new addition!
