Hi Sally:

I think your bird is the prettiest I have ever seen. Merlin also is quite happy to be held in my hand 'like a hamster'. I loved that term...like a hamster. It took him a few weeks, but he is quite content to be on my finger, shoulder or being held. He has learned to give kisses and shake your hand. I am so glad I brought him home to live with us. I loved my canary....but Merlin is has so much more character because we can 'play'.
