must be a bird lover thing......

It was bad enough that I got excited when Sophie pooped on me after her accident. I laughed, got excited and said "good girl Sophie!!" with all the zeal and excitement of a child at christmas........................

when she BIT me today!!!

Sophie is definitely getting better huh? lol I caught myself and figured, ya know? That might not be such a good idea telling her that. It was in play of course so it wasn't bad but still.......... Sophie is even climbing around her cage as usual so I know her beak doesn't hurt any more. Thank goodness!!

Think it is just being a parent -- seen similar joy in other pet owners (and those with human children) over signs of progress that would usually end up with someone in big trouble! So glad she is doing better!

Sorry to hear of the bite. Don't think of it as a bite, think of it as Sophie's way to express her health and healing to you.
