When you buy her a new playstand that's bigger than her cage.

Grace seems to like it well enough, but I know I gotta do a few more things to it yet....
Like maybe put on one more ladder to make it easier for her to get from cage to playset on her own...

and add a couple more toys.

Oh my that is a big playstand! It is really neat I like the way it is design. One question: were is the birdy shoudn't he/she be playing in it? I would! I would definetly put more ladders for him/her to have easy access to it. I love it.

that is really cool Jim!!! The center piece on top, the round part, is just like what I took off of Sophie's cage when I put on her addition. Now I know how to put it to use!!

Actually she's in her cage in that shot (she's almost hidden by the one toy in the upper left corner).
I was going to put her on the playset, but she was having such fun playing with that white rope with wooden discs toy that I didn't want to disturb her.

Since they were requested, here's a few more shots of Gracie....(Ya can see her full white cap is comming in nicely).

There was one shocking point yesterday.
We went to the same place we got Grace to get the playset. We're pretty friendly with the lady that runs the dogtrimming service right next door & she's into birds too. She brings her YNA, Tasha, into work with her all the time. Tasha likes me (alot) - every time I walk in, Tash dances back & forth on her perch trying to get to me.
The last time we were there, Grace was with us. She displayed quite a bit of jealousy when she saw me with Tasha.....
Gracie didn't care that Tasha is easily double her size either, she fluffed up, spread her wings slightly & growled at the bigger 'Zon the whole time Tasha was with me.

When we walked past the entrance to dog gromming store yesterday, the owner was outside having a smoke break. At the time, Grace was on my shoulder in her flightsuit & leash. The owner looked over & asked how Gracie was doing. I brought Grace down from my shoulder onto my hand and we chatted for a few mins.
Gracie was acting like she wanted to go see her and stepped up to her as soon as she put her hand forward.
Now we haven't been down there in months, but Gracie must have realized that this is the woman that owns Tasha because what happened next was soooo fast & unexpected, it shocked us all.
Gracie suddenly fluffed up, dove off her hand, gave a couple of wing flaps & latched onto the end of her nose!!!!!

No blood drawn or any injury, but WOW....
she's never done that with anyone before.

It's really odd that she's so protective/jealous of other birds around me.
I'm not even Gracie's favourite, I'm like third stringer....
she'll go to my wife or daughter, before she goes to me.

Whoa! I'm glad that woman was a bird person. I can't believe Grace did that. I guess it is from the jealousy thing. They are so smart, but so wild and crazy! Were you embarrassed like your kid was just real bad in front of company?
2nd of all, I LOVE that playstand. I bet a few fids around here would like that too.

It could also be due to the woman being blonde. Grace could see her as some kinda of strange giant WCP & she's just trying to get rid of any potential competition.
