My wife posted this tongue-in-cheek ad for a citron-crested cockatoo (who is driving her nuts), so I thought I'd share:

It's getting around too... she's been contacted from people all over the country and it's only been posted a day!

hahaha- That was HELARIOUS! It's also a good idea just to let people know what they may be getting into when looking for a large bird. Did it mention the noise they make??
I was fortunate enough today to see some of these beauties flying overhead today making such a RACKET! Their voices carried from ages away and they are HUGE birds in flight! Here we call them "sulphur crested cockatoos"- well, actually we just call em cockies! XD

Also, I have herd that Cockatoo's in Australia are not well appreciated!

I have to ask Ashling... Is it true they are considered a undesirable bird out there?

I had a friend I used to talk to out there and he thought we were crazy for spending $1,000 plus for such a bird! Hahahaha
