Beautiful birds all.....and quite the well appointed play & living areas you have for them!
I love the Cubans - except for that red bib, they look so much like a WCP.

Hi Minimama! I got little Willow by accident, we didn't even know what type of parrot the little 2 week old chick was, I took her to foster and she grew up to be an Orange Wing Amazon. I didn't want her to be alone, so I added Aspen, then I fell in love with Mulberry and added him, Cypress was next as he was Mulberry's buddy, and then someone asked if I'd add Maple to the flock. I've always worried about the conures voices, the macaws size and the 'toos needs. Although the first bird I ever fell in love with was a military macaw at petsmart, that bird is what got me researching and a couple of years later, Willow fell into my life.
I recently responded to an ad about a Meyers parrot who needs a home, but I'm not sure I will be chosen. They will obviously choose the best fit for the little one and it may not be this home. I've always been attracted to the Meyers and the Jardines, which of course are both African birds. I absolutely adore the Pionus Parrots and would love to add them into the flock one day. And I adore the yellow faced amazon that is said to be almost like a pionus as well as an amazon, though I have never seen one in person. I did see the yellow lored amazons and they are awesome! Similar is size and spirit to the cubans, amazing colors and neat little birds. It's unlikely though not impossible that I'll buy another flock member so doubtful that those rare species will end up living here. But, you just never know about life.
