a question about a sun conure

I am a new bird owner. I've had my parekeet since last summer and I got my sun in the winter. He is totally in love with me. He's fluttering his wings and calling his name when ever I'm even close by. He's about 10 months old. The question is, yesterday he spat up a little white stuff. He did it twice in a row. He never stopped talking or playing when he did it. I was just wondering what might have caused him to do that? Thanks!

i dont think he would do that at that age, or maybe he would. if he doesnt seem sick, it may just be a natural reflex toward future regurgitation to a mate. if he is fluffed and acting tired, see a vet. my sun conure has never done that yet, and he is 15 months old.

The bird could be regurgitating for you. Does he seem to be excited when he does this? It is young but not impossible, it is not really a true mating reflex yet.

My sun is 4 years and 4 months old and the best he's done for me is stop snoring in my head board when it's bed time XD (He sleeps in there on his scarf so I don't roll over him)
