One question: I don't understand the dialouge on page 2: "And this is stud, of course, of unimaginable proportions, is me." Maybe I'm over-thinking (I've been proofing obits all night!) but the words seem out of order to me.

i dont think the is is supposed to be there? but the rest is fine (like of couse its of an unimaginable proportion because it's me) is what that part means. its just the IS that throws it off

Honestly it probably is. I don't know, it's 3 in the morning and I've spent the better part of 24 hours locked in a car feeling awful because I've never learned how to fend for myself in the real world (I was trying to find an apartment) so inbetween switching drivers with mom only today/yesterday did I go back and alter dialog. Those are test pages after all so if there are mistakes I'm hoping you'll catch em. Thank you. As for pages 5-8....of which 3 are more done than the 4th, because I really need to get cracking on finishing up for the big move coming in a week or so I might post them a few days a part here, but no where as quickly, and probably not colored. I did have the chance to draw them freehand though so no more bubbly curvy line you'll see some freshness and organic-ness to them but for right now, other than the apartment issues of learning to fend for myself my mom smashed the front end of my car in hitting a deer we tried to slow down and avoid so now I have bambi's butt tattooed in the hood of my honda, and the grills cracked, and when she hit it she rolled over the top of the car and poo'd the entire distance before running off into the forest after landing on the other side. My mom's BF was in the passenger seat and said the deer was still semi standing when it hit the forest ground. ::Rubs face with her hand::...yesterday I was oh so excited that everyone seemed to love the comic and as soon as I got that wonderful part of that spot light god brought the world down on my head...*sigh* Hope your saturdays were better, sometime tomorrow I'll post the black and white of page 5. Probably closer to the evening. EST time.

Interesting comic so far. Love the colors of the Conure.
I'm a little more old-school about my cartooning; preferring to hand draw, then scan my sketches into the computer.
(Makes for more cleanup work though, as the scanner picks up every line made- whether it was erased or not.)

LOL! No, you're not over-thinking it from editor OD, the wording is just slightly out of order.
Even though you shouldn't start a sentence with "and", I think it sounds better like this:

"...And of course, this is stud of unimaginable proportions, is me."

Thank you, I agree hand drawn animation, story boarding, and comics are much better done by hand. But I also like the vector based Aliasing that I can do on Illustrator. I'm still trying to figure out a stream lined way to do Jean luc, I got lazy with Alexander and did not color his tummy blue like it was when he was with me. (Also cute thing next comic or so he turns around so you can see the heart shaped spot he had on his bottom =3) But as soon as I'm done cleaning my room up for the day, expect page 5 to be up. My BF came up with an alternitive solution as well to us purchasing a domain name for the time being, he has a web builder and is constructing a blank site for me to load everything up to, only thing I'm concerned about is just how much of a work horse I'm getting. And if I hadn't meantioned it yet I was thinking about the new school I'm transfering to amid the nightmares in my real life and because I'm going to animation school where I can do Shrek styled animation I figured if this gets popular enough I might be able to do a movie short for my final thesis next year. I'm also looking into getting some advertisers (NO POP UPS I hate those) to do small banners on the page here and there for conservations dedicated to birds or making a page where people who'd like to adopt or learn more about birds can go and do a little reading to help with the unhomed bird population. I've really thought this through since I started posting about this comic and I think that in time I might be able to make a difference for some birds and maybe hopefully turn this into a small business on the side like some other comic artists (no I won't be charging for viewing) but those are just thoughts. It's really early for me to make any permenent view points on this but that is the direction I would really like to go in. On other research I've done, there really aren't any comics on the web or in real life dedicated to parrots so I've got a corner on the market Alright, I'm gonna finish cleaning so I can satisfy everyone's comic needs, love you guys!
