Zakiya is settling in quite nicely!
Hi all! She has been here for almost a week already! She is really sweet and lets anybody hold and play with her. My kids friends have been over and she goes to them all. (with proper handling I must add). She eats like crazy, loves to hang out on her hoopball, and doesn't even let the neighborhood fireworks bother her! I was amazed at that! They were quite loud and colorful and she didn't panic at all! I'm so proud! I took her into the bathroom with me today to get ready for work, she chewed a q-tip, watched me a bit, then lifted her foot and took a snooze! Is that normal for a baby to snooze in a new area? I am a bit concerened about that. I figured she would be very curious and awake. Any info would be great! Thanks all! Here are some pics of her doing her favoite things, eating agrape on her ball! And a picture of our living room, now taken over by Z!

where on earth did you get that hoop ball that is so gosh **** cool. And she probably went to sleep because you tuckered her out.

Your grey is gorgeous and it sounds like she is doing really well!

Hi all! yes, she is a beauty! (But OK, I'm a little biased) It's called the hoopball and one of the members on the board wrote out directions they are pretty easy to follow. Alot of board members have made different ones with the instructions. She LOVES hers and would stay on it all day!
