Parrot Movie

Me being the ever restless little stress ball I am came to an interesting thought the other day. Despite doing comic paneling (yes panel five is coming.... it's inked in except for the eyes I just have to color it ) But I start school in a few weeks, and in a month or so will be expected to start story boarding a movie short about parrots as part of my final thesis. I hate doing short things because I love things to have depth and meaning. And so I'm posting this in question to IF I made a movie about parrots (which would probably at best be 25 minutes long with my OCD) with the CGA courses I'm taking...what do you think would make the best theme or story? Conservation? Humor, taking and making an animated short about the characters in the comic, what? Trust me I'll listen and have been intending to put my skills at some point to animating a cartoon (I've got one 32 second film but I misplaced the disk so I can't show ya ) Whatcha guys think?

I am discontinuing further updates on the comic thus far until I have arraigned for the TM and Copyrights to be formally recognized by the government to protect my intellectual property for your viewing pleasures. Sorry...

Humor is always good. Maybe something educational that non-bird people can learn something from? We watched the movie "Paulie" (1998) last weekend for the umpteenth time - always loved that one!

I've wanted Paulie and Army of the Dead on netflix for a while but it hasn't come yet, maybe I can draw some inspiration from seeing Paulie.

I hadn't seen Paulie in it's entirety until a few months ago. I found it to be an excellent movie because I'm now a bird person and could relate but the ending ALWAYS makes me cry.

Do you mean Paulie? If you plan on seeing it do you want the ending? It's kind of a happy ending but tear jerking. I don't know maybe it's just me. I could cry at the drop of a hat.

Ooooh okay yeah I was planning on seeing about seeing Paulie if it's a really sad ending then I won't view it. I have a thing about movies if I know the ending is sad and it makes me angry that the happy ending never came or the ending didn't complete the main character's objective then I feel very cheated. But if it's happyish and you just cry alot it should be fine then

How about this....everyone lives happily ever after. It's similar to the movie Homeward Bound with the two dogs and cat that are separated from their family. It too is a happy ending but ALWAYS makes me cry.
