Canary with injured feet
This is my first post. I found a canary in my yard 10 days ago and have been unable to locate its owner. She (or he) is very sweet and I'm trying my best to take care of her. The problem is her feet have these bulbous swollen spots on them. Now she stand on one legs and tucks the other up. I live in a rural area with no vets with 20 miles, much less an avian vet. The feet seem to be infected. I wondered if I should try putting neosporin on them. Any advice would be appreciated. It breaks my heart not to be able to help her.

If I were you I would call around to some vets to see if they would be willing to help you (low if any exam visit) with her. they then can talk with other avian vets to help her out. they indeed look infected, and prob need antibiotics along with a topical to get her feeling better.
they look like they possibly could have been burnt.
