Question What Size Bird Cage for Conures

Hi .. I have some question about a bird cage .. What size bird cage to get for Conures ... here what I found .. 24" x 22" x 63" and 24" x 22" x 58".. I dont know if that too small or too medium or just right .. a couple of bird cages have all in one on wheel with seed guard ... Can you give me some idea what measurement to get... so I'll know which one is better for the Conures .. I'm going for one breed I'm settling for but still havent make up my mind which conure I want .. will keep you posted on this one ..

Thanks

marwa

generally true - but watch the bar spacing... you don't wanna exceed 5/8" for conures

we got these for valo and bella and they're great

I think those sizes you mentioned are too small. Since you haven't bought the cage yet, a larger one won't be much more money, and your new bird will be happier in a bigger one. Valo's Moirana is right, keep in mind the bar spacing, but go BIGGER.

Parrotlets need larger wider cages than those. I am sure a larger cage would be better for a conure too. Wide is good.

I've bought cages from Bird Paradise and gotten good prices. Try to get one at least 32" wide. 36" wide would be even better.

Hi.. I found a bird cage I'm looking for 32"x 23"x 67" with seed guard for fair price... 175.00 in my local area.. I will get it when I get back from my trip to Wisconsin. The cage should be right size for sun conures I also check bar spaces .. not too wide or too small .. just right.. like the Goldenlock and Three Bears story book ....
