I have a new tiel....

I got him 2 days ago.... put him in siggy.. . but no one seemed to notice..

I could wait not longer...
Soooo .....I just HAD to make an anouncement...

And here he is....

and cage pics right after first cleaning... no where as clean as I would like it to be yet.. but with his "help" and not wanting to upset him to much ... will do till can comfortable move him to another cage for a couple of hours.. to dismatle and give THRO scrub....




He is still getting use to the feel of the natuural perchs ... . still adding toys slowly...
Full flighted.. and let fly in guest bedroom where in quarrentine....
He flew TO me today.. landed on arm.. and asked for scritchs.....
Looks like the birdroom.. is turning into one big tiel cage...

The Tiels are out loose now days as much if not more than in flights ... with with doors open when loose so can return to cages for food and water.. but also have water dishs on outsides of cages now.. and until 2PM in afternoon.. shallow dishs so can bath if want to.. other than the every other day mist baths....
Captain has been frantically calling to the other tiels.. fron the guest bedroom where he is in quarrentine.. wants to join them..

Been only fid.. and calling to wild birds for over 18 months now....
Looking forward to quarrentine ending in a month....
