Lukey loves to drink Coke from a bottle cap. The first video shows her doing just that. I just think it's cute 'cause she holds it like a glass.

This second video shows what she does every time the coke runs out. She takes the cap to her cage and fills it with water from her water bowl. Funny girl.

I hope that's really water though & not Coke....

((It might be advertised as "the real thing", but the caffeine & refined sugar levels in those colas are unbelievably hard on any bird.))

I realize that Coke is not good for birds, but we discovered that she liked it by accident. She doesn't get a daily ration of it. It's very rare, and only a few drops in the cap. Otherwise, I do my best to take proper care of all my birds and my dogs. Thanks for telling me though, in case I didn't know.

THATS JUST FANTASTIC! i've seen birds, with less to offer, on talk shows such as david lettermans stupid pet trix. lukey's a real star.

ROYJOY- Thanks for the rave reviews on Lukey's film debut! I think it's adorable. She even carries the cap long distances to get to the water bowl, but I was afraid it might be to boring for anyone else. Gotta love bird folks!

Lee, I love it! Lukey's really enjoying herself! I gave Sunny and the tiels a small piece of a Snickerdoodle organic cookie (organic but still has brown sugar in it) and they loved it. When it's done only once in a blue moon (in moderation), I agree with you that it's all right. A special treat! I love your title of the video, too. The second one of Lukey filling the cap with water from her water bowl is amazing. She's a brilliant parrot!
