Exclamation canary-owners ??

[color="Black"][/ COLOR]

I want my husband to see and hear a canary SING !!
I wonder if someone could post their video of their singing canary ?!
The sound is one of the world's greatest wonders of nature-that's what I think anyway.

Try Denise's website affaviary.com She has a video of canaries singing. I also have a DVD of canaries singing, you can usually find one at a bird store.

Here's Julian. Not his picture, just his singing. At the beginnning of the video.
He's a mutt canary, hatched in my birdroom. The birds showing are my Buttercup and Pearlybird. The barking is my toy poodle, Phoebe.

Ive got 10 canaries in one of my aviaries and after 3 years I still stop and listen to them everyday. It is one of the nicest sounds in the world. The lorrikeets in the cage next to them are another story especially when they squawk in my ear! That aint so pretty!

Ten canaries! I know that sounds wonderful. I only had one pair that had babies, but once all the boys started competing with their father, it was something to hear. They were in the house with us too. Just one now, but I love his song!

My guys are all outside in an aviary. I like waking up on the weekends and listen to them singing outside in the sunshine. My partner isnt so hot about it and usually says something like "friggin birds!"

I also have to say that canaries would have to be one of my fave birds. As you can see below I have quite a few to compare them with too. I love their cheekiness, their curious personalities. I have to shoo them away from the cage door at feeding time, little Tash is always there waiting for me, weezy louisy will sit on my head and casanova (who has impregnated most of the females) and sony are usually having sing offs! When I first got sony I had him in a cage in the house for the first night. I took him to the new aviary the next morning. I started to get him out of the cage to transfer him and the bottom of the cage fell out and Sony flew off. He stopped on the driveway and let me close but then scooted off again. I chased him around the neighbourhood until i lost him. I then went to work. Came home that afternoon and the dogs were being weirder than normal and so I went through the back gate instead of the front door and there was Sony sitting in his upturned cage in the backyard! It was so cool! I just love them. They give me endless pleasure.
