I love that pet carrier. It depends on the bird. Two of my birds love them one does not. You can't use them on the airlines. You can put a swing in them which is fine for Chloe who loves to hang upside down when she is in any little travel cage. Zeke loves looking out the "windows" but doesn't require anything but a towel. I have never had a problem with them chewing on them. The vet likes them because it is easy to get the birds in and out of them. My Morgan does not like them and prefers her carry case that is hard sided. This worries me because I am afraid she could get more hurt with the hard sides than the other two with the soft sides. I can slide mine through a clothes carrier rod and hang them in the car so they can't get hurt and they can see out.

I have that carrier as well. I got it for my caique. the only thing I find is that the weight of the bird makes the middle sag, (if that makes sence) When you pick it up. however, I do like it and it would be perfect for a smaller bird.

I have this backpack carrier and it is just perfect for smaller birds. It jas a perch and very lightweight.

just so ya know, Shadows tail will most likely just barely fit. I wanted it in case of an emergency and I could keep a carrier right by the caiques cage.
But still and all, Its a nice thing to have, just in case. It only takes up about the size of a sponge when wrapped up.
