Hi .. I'm letting you all know that I'm gonna be off the post for a little awhile , we lost one of our family dog,Blanco as he passed away early this morning.. We think he had heart worm as we didnt know he was very ill as he was very active dog ... my husband think it the water outside we keep for the dogs to drink during the day since we had so much rain lately be came a breeding ground for the skeeters ( can't spelled ).. We didnt realized how serious it was for not changing it every other day .. Please be sure to change your dog water outside each day after the rain.. we are going through the grieving process and we're hurting as it's a big Lesson for all of us in the family ... right now we got one dog left.. Kash.. right now I'm trying to focus on him and have the vet to check for his heart worm..

Did he have his prevention for heartworm? It is so sad. The vet could not treat him, was it caught late?
