Procedures After Death

Ok i never thought my first bird would ever die atleast for a long time and it happened i cant believe it still really, but know what?We were told it sounded like a upper respiratory problem from him making a clicking sound every breath before he died and he always sorta panted after he would exhaust himself from flight but i never thought it was a problem i thought his wings being clipped made him work to hard when he tried to fly.

So now that being said what about my other 2 babies i have(GCC,Budgie)are they at risk?Yes but only the budgie lived with the one who died and the GCC just got here a month ago and had a vet check blood work and was clean. So what to do?I've seperated them in seperate rooms and cleaned the cage that my baby lived in before he died yesterday,my GCC never touched the bird who died but had obviously been on somthing at some point that "Bird"(my Budgie who died)had been on so what do i wanna stress about doing?Gus is my last budgie i got she/he lived with Bird for years, and Winston my GCC hasnt been here long and i want both of my birds healthy id just take them both to the vet now but im broke and i dont know what i should even be looking for?If Bird did in fact have a Upper Respiratory problem that killed him can it be passed?I was gonna get a Necropsy but she said it would cost hundreds and they stilll might not be able to say for sure.So im asking please hel pme im stressing out what do i do i cleaned most stuff that Bird was in contact with but i still think of stuff all the time and some cant be washed.Thank you BB this will help save my babies health P.S Bird never had touched Winstons brand new cage so his cage doesnt need washing?
