Bird Nests
i decided to start this thread because my finches are putting EVERYTHING they can find into their nest. Just post wierd things that you have found in any of your birds nests. I'll Start:
A zip tie...i use it to hold perches together in their aviary and i didn't know that i left one in there and the next day, i found it inside their nest... A whole egg shell...I put a whole chicken egg shell in their cage for some extra calcium and later that night, i looked into their nest to check on the and the WHOLE THING is sitting next to my female. wierd...

i had a zebra cock that would take a whole millet spray in the nest. that didnt leave much room for birds.
 my love bird hen will take the millet stem in after the seeds are gone.

yup...i have had that happen too. but only with the bare stems
