Aww thats a great sig pic. Yeah with matches i was so excited for ages when i got her home and would just sit there staring at her cage lol.

Yeah well with my green cheek she apparently isnt tame, not handraised or anything but she watches me with matches and i am thinking maybe cos she see's its ok for matches to be near me she might think ok ill try it cos this morning she was on my hand eating seed out of it and she was hiding in my skirt last night and i gave her scratches and she was closing her eyes, she also hasnt bitten me hard yet. Think thats strange for a bird with no human contact.

I cant get over that you have your quaker how cool!

I had so many oppotunities to buy handraised ones but Matches was handraised and was way to easy for me, thats why i needed to teach her tricks.

I used to tame baby cockatiels and we used to have wild rescue birds come in and i would love it when they finally became tame after being so scared.

I'm not sure about that no human contact thing? I thought she would be alot worse but maybe she is just brave and adventurous. I cant wait til she is tame so i can snuggle her. She is clipped, came clipped which is good cos i was gonna do it anyway, theres no way i could tame her flighted, plus she has learnt to fledge cos she is 6 months old so when she is tame i know she can fly.

I have no name too lol. I am thinking Kahlua but not sure yet? You got any ideas for names your birdie?

What a cutie! I love love LOVE the noise quakers make! I can make the noise exactly! Oh what fun to have a new baby! It's so sweet when they snuggle into your hair!
~20,000 names.com~ is great for names! Check the meanings of names you're thinking of, and look up names which mean a certain thing (bird, parrot, green, noisy, cute, playful?)
