the WILD PARROTS!!!

Guess what I saw tonight? The Wild Parrots of Telegraph Hill - in person!!! We were driving past the park where they sleep, so we stopped to see how they were doing. There are hundreds of them now! And they are so much fun to see - and hear!! They are very loud with their chipper little conure chatter. They play and fly back and forth, and lots of them were paired up and preening each other. There are also lots of babies. I just love it!

Bee- I have pics from last fall. Last night was at dusk so the lighting wasn't good, and it was spit-raining so not the best weather. It's fun to see parrots in their natural state-but its kind of sad as well because it makes you realize that these animals are meant to flock, squawk, pair up, play, be loud and inquisitive, **FLY**, and just live! I have to get my out door aviary soon.
