Beware of online Bird Toy Store

Beware of an online toy making store called, Beak and Destroy Toys. I ordered a large amount of toys for my birds. I gave her my business because I wanted to help her out since she had a lull in business and I have ordered some toys from her before and they were quite good. So I ordered a bulk order from my tax return. Well, it took another 3 weeks to get the items...well should I say some of them and I did not receive another box. I should have had about another 4-5 more boxes.
I tried to call her, write her and I really thought something was wrong and I was worried about her well being. Well, it turns out that she is avoiding me and was seen on her myspace account like nothing is going on. She is avoiding every site that I am on so that she can avoid either paying me back my money, or getting the toys I ordered. I do not want the toys anymore and just want my money so I can order them from a reputable company.
I hate that when you try to help out a small business and they mess you over.
I thought we were friends as I had corresponded with her via internet and phone for nearly 2-3 yrs and now I see her true colours.
I unfortunately had to report her to the internet police and paypal and I will most likely have to report her to her local police dept for theft. Because when I say I am out a lot of money, it is a lot of money and too much to just blow off.

Elaine, having been very pleased with past orders I have received from Beak and Destroy Toys and knowing the owner through posts and emails, I would not expect the situation you describe and I am very sorry for the situation you find yourself in now. Though it sounds as if you have tried, I wish for a quick and correct resolution to your concerns. Keith

LOL she is a poser.

she also pretends to know alot about birds but all she knows is what she has learned from people like me (she use to call me for information and then pretend she came up with it)

I stopped talking to her when she killed her macaw by not taking it to the vet and ignoring warnings that the bird would die if she didnt do anything.( she let the bird die and blamed it on something else when in reality it was her fault)

She ripped her toy ideas off from other people on the net and claims that they stole the ideas from her when in fact they were selling toys years before she even had a bird.

she lies about her experience with owning birds and says she has owned birds for a large number of years when in fact she has not owned birds for very long at all.

Yes heather i am talking about you and you know that its all 100% true so stop posing and ripping people off because nobody likes a thief.

I guess if you will screw around on your husband with a stranger from AU then you will pretty much do anything.

HA! You didnt know that i knew about that one did you heather?

Hahahahahaha

Ive been saying it for about 3 years now "carma tends to bite you when you least expect it"

John

We admire your intention to make us aware of problem with a business not coming through but please refrain from posting customer complaints about 3rd party businesses. As we can not expect a 3rd party to provide customer service on our site nor can we allow one side to cause problems since we don't have the full story. I hope everyone can appreciate that, we just don't want to get dragged into a battle for something that we have no part of.
