Exclamation URGENT! Help Needed!

I bought a couple Sun Conures about a month ago and they instantly started laying eggs. Their first egg hatched just over a day ago, but they ignore it and have not fed it. I got extremely concerned so I attempted to hand feed it just a second ago (I have read about it).

I am unsure how big it's crop should be when full as the bird is so young. Does anyone have any pictures? I am really scared of losing this one. They have 3 other eggs she is still sitting on. I beleive this is the first clutch they have hatched, so they don't know what they are doing. Is this normal? Any hints on how I can save this baby?

After I feed it I put it back under the mother. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks!

If they're ignoring the baby, you may want to remove it permanently and put it in a warm brooder - "bad" parents can kill or maim a baby.

Don't know anything about handfeeding new borns, only fledglings, so I'll leave that for more experienced parronts.

how old are they now? they dont start feeding for a couple days. the chicks are still living on yolk. and they rareily feed while your watching, so in less you are watching them 24/7, you wouldnt know.

The chick is the only one hatched so far. It is 2 days old. I knew they haven't fed it cause it's crop is always empty. I seems to also be getting weaker. The yolk only gives them enough nutition for 12 hours.

If you haven't hand feed before....please, please, please find a vet or a breeder in your area. Lot's of breeders will help you, if you ask. SOOOOOOOOO much can go wrong with hand feeding a baby.
