a while back my fids got to try Birdy Bread. They didn't quite know what to make of it. They hadn't had anything like that before. So now a few months later we tried it again.
I took up one of the cones and headed for Sophie, my eatin' machine!!! Well she was scared of it. So over to Zoey I went, she backed up. Lightly beaked it and turned away. :x huh??
So back to Sophie, she cocked her head one way and my first thought was " I am in trouble now!" She bit the cone and took off over my shoulder.
I put her back on the stand, and take the cone back to Zoey. This is getting kind of fun now. Zoey takes a bite....................

while taking these photos Sophie was not to be ignored and she kept climbing on my shoulder down on my arm............
so I go in the kitchen to get her one, she jams in the house and gets on top of the cages as fast as she can. Sweet as could be too. Slowly I reach up and hand her a cone. She steps back. I laugh. She runs at it and.......

it was gone just that fast. Very little got to the bottom of the cage!!
I went to check on Zoey............

then I remembered Benji and Cricket!! Not even a crumb was left of the half I put in Benji's cage. Both he and Cricket were sitting there quite content in themselves................

That was fun for me too! I loved the slideshows. Those birds are just beautiful. Whiteboy was eating Avicakes, and I was real happy about that. Now that he's discovered my type of birdie bread, he throws the Avicakes across the cage and makes a sound that means, "Got any birdie bread?"
