Pesticides on lawn

I ordered a Feather Tether for my Sun Conure online. I've been excited about taking my little guy when it gets a little warmer here. Friday I come home (condo complex) and see those little yellow signs....warning, pesticide applied.

Now does that mean I can't ever let him be on the grass, or will it be okay after a few good rainstorms?

Well, I dont let my guys go on the grass for that reason. my husband puts down fertilizer and pesticides. there is also the risk of them walking through wild bird poop that can get him sick. you can always take out a blanket and let him walk on that after several rainstorms...(i would think) unless someone else has experience with this as I really dont.
I just didnt want to take a chance.
good thing tho is that you were warned with the signs!

I agree with Lisa. Even my vet said not to let them walk in the grass.. you never know what's been there. Yes, maybe an outside blanket, the one that has the plastic on the bottom and cloth on top. I would be careful though.
