my opinion...
when you find that resource, whatever it may be, you still need to talk to experienced people.
When I was doing my research about birds, I went to many different places that sold birds and found people online to chat with. I was able to weed out the fruitloops who were only trying to sell me the most expensive thing in the store. Then I found the honest bird lovers who truly wanted to make a good match for my family. I know what you're thinking, but yes, they do exist, even in an exotic bird store! You will get SO much more help from the people here! Of course, SOME people are completely biased and think that their breed is the best! My CAG is the best type of bird for me! I have some other places where you can pick people's brains to get great info. Let me know if you want that other place.

Hi Ashling, I tried to send you an IM, but it seems you need to empty out your mailbox! Anyway, here's what I said"
Hi Ashling, I'd love the info from your book, explaining/comparing the different breeds. If you want, just tell me the name of the book, author, and if possible the ISBN# and I can go to Barnes and Nobles or one of the other bookstores and browse through it. Thanks, Sue |
