Sick baby green wing?

Hi all

I have a new baby green wing six weeks old. Seems like it might be sick. She has labored breathing and is uncomfortable. Of course all the Vets in our area are closed on Sunday. Seems like she get hot real easy. Not sure what to do

SIX weeks?Can you tell us more? Is this a baby you purchased? Are you handfeeding it?? At that age it sounds like it need s a vet asap. You must call the emergency number. A six week old macaw is not even close to weaned yet.

Yes we purchased her and are hand feeding her. She seems to have setteled down now. Maybe she was just too hot. we have a heating pad under half her box.

Do you know what temperature the pen should be kept at?

I would call the breeder you got her from, she would be able to tell you the correct temps, and humidity levels.
