Post Helping finda good home for Jenday Conure...

I was emailed by a member who is need of finding a good home for Josie a Jenday Conure if anyone is interested here is the info.

She's a beautiful Jenday Conure. I say SHE, loosely... I don't know. She's about 3 yrs old and has a good temperament but just too loud for my husband & I. He didn't do any research before he brought her home to me as a gift.

Cage is a nice one - 20" W x 20" Deep. Play area on top; floor to top of cage, not including play area is 44"; space between bars is 1/2".

We live between downtown Kansas City, MO downtown and Independence, MO. Phone number is (816) 920-5508.

My big problem is that I need to find an owner who knows that she's rather loud. She was not hand fed & is not so tame now. Won't sit on finger but gives gentle little nibbles on my finger as her contact. Likes to sit by window and spends most of day on top play area. Flies around room for exercise and takes baths in large bowl we've attached inside.

She's my baby and I want to find someone who will love her.

Thanks for trying to help!

Wow, I would totally jump on that, (I've been looking for one of those, as an addition to my birdie family. From what I've researched, they're brilliant birds) except I'm saddled over here in Colorado.
Good luck, though! Keep us posted!
